Under California Government Code 14200, this position is eligible for hybrid telework for eligible applicants residing in California. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the department and is subject to change as business needs arise. Candidates who reside outside of California may be interviewed; however, the selected candidate must have a primary residency in California prior to appointment (and continue to maintain California residency) as a condition of employment. Failure to meet this requirement may result in the job offer being rescinded. In accordance with CSD’s Policy Directive 22-001, all telework employees utilize a shared workspace or “hotel” space when working on-site and may be required to report in-person to headquarters and/or off-site locations more frequently as determined by management. Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Research Data Analyst (RDA) II will be responsible for collaboratively developing and performing complex data analysis and research that is critical to the Energy & Environmental Services Branch projects, policy development and reporting. The incumbent will evaluate, develop and provide data needed to make department-wide data driven decisions. The incumbent is responsible for the research, data analysis, review, and corresponding tasks necessary to enable services within the Branch in support of the federal Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), the federal Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program (DOEWAP) and other Branch programs.
