Precision Estimating for Industrial Leaders—Lead the Strategy from Print to Production!

American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier industrial fabrication leader in Longview, WA looking for a high-level Estimator . This isn’t a standard HVAC-only role; we are looking for a professional who understands the grit of industrial work, custom fabrication, and heavy-gauge realities. If you are a results-driven expert who can visualize how a project is built just by looking at a print, we want to talk to you!

Description for Estimator:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and field conditions.
• Perform accurate material takeoffs for ducting, structural steel, and plate.
• Estimate labor hours for shop fabrication and field installation.
• Build detailed quotes, proposals, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Source and price materials from vendors.
• Coordinate with shop and field crews to verify constructability.
• Work directly with ownership on project strategy and pricing.

Details for Estimator:

• Pay Range: $28.00 – $50.00 / hour (DOE)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Requirements for Estimator:

• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal estimating or industrial fabrication/installation.
• Exceptional ability to read prints and visualize the build independently.
• Strong understanding of industrial ducting, custom fabrication, and structural steel.
• Proficiency in Excel and digital estimating tools.
