Are you passionate about working with children and creating a safe, welcoming environment where they can thrive? The Ocean Community YMCA is looking for caring, reliable team members to support our campers through our before and after camp extended day program .

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a team, building relationships, and making a positive impact in their community.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
• Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Part-time, seasonal

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers before and after camp
• Engage children in fun, age-appropriate recreational activities
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every camper feels they belong
• Maintain accurate attendance and follow all camp policies and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with staff and leadership to support daily operations

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children preferred
• Positive, patient, and team-oriented mindset
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification-YMCA will train
• Commitment to YMCA values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility
