Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated, highly skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance and entry-level mechanical repairs on commercial trucks. This position supports fleet and customer vehicle safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance (inspections, lubrication, fluid/filter changes)
• Inspect and repair clutch, brake, and 5th wheel systems
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems
• Perform steering and suspension repairs
• Assist with drivetrain repairs (drivelines, U-joints, differentials)
• Complete safety and emissions inspections as authorized
• Accurately document work performed
• Safely operate tools and diagnostic equipment
• Follow DOT and company safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1–2 years of diesel technician experience in diagnosing and repairing light, medium and heavy-duty trucks
• Experience performing PM related services
• Must have a valid driver’s license: CDL Preferred
• Must be able to lift 50lbs/push-pull 75lbs
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• ASE certification preferred
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening required by DOT
